PURPOSE :What is this site for?
Enter the IBIS call for entries held by IBIS hotels by submitting funny, punchy and original videos in which you wear pyjamas or/and by voting for your favorite videos. You may win the first prize (5.000 EUR) or gifts in kind.

REGISTRATION :
Why must I register on the site?
Signing up is the condition to be allowed to submit videos to the contest, to leave comments and to eventually win one of the prizes.
Is registration free?
Yes, registration and participation in the contest are completely free. Underage must pay attention to the rules of participation and to the site usage agreement.
How to register on the site?
Click on the sign up button at the top on the left or on the red "Participate now" button. Fill in the registration form then click on "Create my account". Then validate your inscription by clicking on the activation link you'll find in the email you're going to receive.
How to modify my password?
You must be signed in. Click on the "Log in with the existing account" button and then on the "I already have an account" on the right of the page. Enter your log in and password and click on "Sign in". Click on your dashboard at the top and on the left of the page. Then click on "my account". You can change your password and then click "Update my account".
What is an avatar?
An avatar is a representation of you, so you can illustrate your profile with a photo of yourself. Click on your dashboard at the top and on the left of the page. Then click on "my account". Choose your avatar and then click "on send". You can change your avatar at any time by reiterating this process.
How do I delete my account?
Just request it through the contact form.
PARTICIPATION / UPLOAD :
How to participate in the call for entries?
First create a user account (see "How to register on the site?") and sign in. Click on the dashboard button at the top and on the left of the page. In the "My activities" section, click on the "Join this call for entries" button and agree to the rules of participation. Upload your medias on the upload page so that you can submit your medias to the call for entries (see "How to submit a media?").
Why must I also accept the rules of the call for entries?
When registering on the website, you accept the site usage agreement and then the rules so that you can submit medias to the call for entries. Given each call for entries is unique, contestants must expressly agree to the rules.
How to submit a media?
You must first create a user account (see "How to register on the site?") and sign in. Once you are in the dashboard section, click on "My activities" and then on "Upload".
Click on the "Add files to upload". Thus you can upload your media from your computer, add keywords, accept the site usage agreement by clicking on the acceptance box and click on the "Yes, upload please" button. The blue bar shows the uploading progression.
Uploaded media and their moderation status (see "What do the "indexing", "featured" and "removed" statuses mean?") can be checked in the dashboard.
What can I submit?
You can upload videos (avi, mpg, mov, wmv, flv…) on which you hold all rights (for example you're not allowed to submit episodes of a TV show, movies that you have found on the Internet, films you've made but that incorporate music for which you have no authorization of use).
What is a keyword?
A keyword is a word that characterizes your media, and what best describes it and its theme.
What are keywords for?
The keywords to enable your media to appear as a result in the search engine.
How do I delete a media?
To delete a media, go to your dashboard and click "delete" in front of the media in question.
My media was distorted when I uploaded it, what should I do?
Try to send it again, or contact us.
MODERATION :
Upload has turned out well but I still can not see my media in the contest?
Once submitted, you must wait for the moderation of your media in the contest: the administrators check that the media submitted fits the theme and contest rules before accepting.
Media moderation is once or twice a day (except for the weekend: no moderation).
If moderation time turns out to be too long, please contact us.
What do the "indexing", "featured" and "removed" statuses mean?
They are the moderation statuses of your media. Those can be seen in the dashboard.
Indexing: your media is being seen by our moderators
Featured: your media has been accepted
Removed: your media does not fit the theme of the call for entries.
I don't understand why my media has been refused?
Just request it through the contact form.
RESULTS :
How will the names of the winners be disclosed?
The names of the winners will be posted on the website. Furthermore, our delivery team will get in touch with the winners.
What becomes of the media once the call for entries is over?
Media stay in our hosting servers and may be still broadcasted on the website. For more information, see the rules of the call for entries.
How and when will I get my prizes?
See the rules of participation to get all delivery details. In case you're appointed as winner, our delivery team will get in touch with you to clear that up.
VOTES :
How do I vote?
First you need to have created your account and to sign in so that you can vote. Next go to the page of the item that you want to rate by clicking on its title or its preview image. The item is displayed in large size in a player. To assign a rating to the item, simply click on the "click here to vote" button.
Can I vote several times for one video?
No you can't. You can vote for as many videos as you wish but you can only vote once for each video. Once your vote is done, you can revote for this video.
A red exclamation mark appears when I vote?
It appears because you have already voted for this video. You can only vote once.
How does the voting system work?
Votes are calculated with the online rating application available on the website. This voting application works as follows: one vote stands for one voice. Jury will appoint the winners in case there are similar vote results.
COMMENTS :
How do I post a comment?
First you need to have created your account and to sign in so that you can post a comment. Next go to the item page by clicking on its title or its preview image, wherever you are on the site. The item is displayed in large size in a player.
To add a comment to the item, simply click on the "Click here to add your comment" link in the area under the player.
Enter your comment and confirm it by clicking on the OK button.
I have written/received a comment that I'd like to erase?
Just request it through the contact form.
How can I see all comments of a video?
Go to the item page, and then click on the "View all comments" link under the player.
SHARING :
I want to share some videos with my friends?
First you need to have created your account and to sign in so that you can share with your friends.
Go to the item page, and then use the Media sharing section on the right of the page. Use the buttons to send to a friend, blog on your website, your myspace, your facebook.
MISCELLANEOUS :
What's a media?
It's the generic name we use to designate photographs, drawings, videos that are uploaded on the website.
What's Eyeka?
Eyeka provides the hosting supply of the website.
Why are there some medias coming from Eyeka?
Some calls for entries are available on Eyeka and on this website. That's why some media come from Eyeka.
Are my media also broadcasted on the Eyeka website?
Yes they are, because one can participate on both websites.
ILLICIT CONTENT :
I want to flag a media as illicit regarding to the site usage agreement?
Go to the item page and then click on the "Flag this media as illicit" on the right and motivate the purpose of the alert.
